Discrètement, elle se rapprocha du flacon. Elle fut d'abord attirée par son bouchon. Ce dernier, en forme de goutte inversée, trempait son extrémité dans un liquide doré. Elle saisit la fiole d'une main et, de l'autre, prit délicatement ce petit cabochon entre le pouce et l'index. Elle fut surprise de voir qu'une perle d'or liquide s'y accrochait, comme en suspens. Elle tourna rapidement la tête de gauche à droite à plusieurs reprises, s'assurant que personne ne l'observait. Elle porta le bouchon à son cou, y glissant une timide caresse qui déversa le liquide et sa trace olfactive.

Discreetly, she approached the carafe. Her attention was first drawn to its stopper. Shaped like an inverted teardrop, its tip dipped into a golden liquid. She took the vial in one hand and, with the other, delicately held the little cabochon between her thumb and forefinger.

She was surprised to see a bead of liquid gold clinging to it, as though suspended in mid-air.

She quickly turned her head from left to right several times, making sure no one was watching. She brought the stopper to her neck, brushing it gently against her skin in a shy caress that released the liquid and its lingering scent.
